Ripplealong Progress

I have joined in with one crafty mumma Ripple along Blanket.  My colours I have chosen are White, Grey, Yellow and Black.  These will match my Grandma's Garden Quilt that I am making.  It was difficult to do the foundation row, but now that i am 9 rows into it I am loving it.



Inverloch and Rayle's 40th Birthday

We headed off early to Inverloch this morning as it was going to be a very hot day. We stopped for Breakfast at Macca's and the went on our first road trip in the new car. Ryder enjoyed the scenery and not once did he say "are we there yet?". On the one we saw some wind turbines and the coastal scenery was beautiful. Once we arrived in Inverloch we headed straight to the beach, we went down to this beautiful inlet. It was beautiful, there were sail boats, jet skis and familys just enjoying the beautiful weather and just trying to stay cool.

We headed up to get changed and head off to the Esplanade Hotel for Rayles's 40th Birthday lunch. I found it quite amazing that since it was her actual birthday the temperature was forecast for 40. We had a beautiful lunch. Once celebrations were over we headed down the beach again with Janine, Steve and Will. We spent a little while down there Ryder and will played wonderful together and did not want to leave. we said our goodbyes to them and head back to the car to start out road trip home, however just as putting stuff in car hear a horn toot and its Rayles, Maxi, Tess and Gus. They were headed down the surf beach and did we want to come, sure why not. We spent a couple of hours there and ended up heading back to Melbourne around 8.00pm.

Happy New Year

Happy new year to all my family friends and loved ones. Just a quite day today pottering around home and just resting after a couple of busy days.

NEW YEARS EVE 2011

As it was a very hot day today we went over to Nicki & Stevens around 4.00pm to start the celebrations. Really to go for a swim in their beautiful pool. Around 6.30pm the others arrived and we settled in for a wonderful night filled with great friends, great memories, great food. To bring in a new year which will be filled with so many more wonderous occasion.

Trishie's 40th Birthday Party

Tonight we helped to celebrate a very special person's 40th Birthday. It was a great night filled with great friends, lots of laughter and lots of tears too. The tears were due to Allan's speech, it was beautiful, then Steph gave a speech and the tears rolled again and then Trishie topped it all off with more tears. Once again happy 40th Birthday Trishie.

Ryder played in the pool for about 5 hrs his finger tips had like cuts on them from being in the water that much. Will update with some photos once i download them.

Happy 11th Birthday Ryder. You are growing up so fast, it doesn't seem like 11 years ago you came into this world. We have spent a nice day together just you and me. You wanted to go the movies for your birthday so we went and Saw "We bought a zoo", then had some lunch. We just came home so you could play with your christmas and birthday
presents.

Happy 40th Birthday Trishie, hope you have a wonderful day and can't wait for your party Friday night.

A new year A New Start

I t has been over 12 months since i have blogged, It has a been a busy year and have not been bothered to record anything on the blog. So I am going to try and start recording lifes events for the new year and see how I go. Nobody probably reads this other than me but it will be a record for our family on the events that occur in day to day life,

Florida USA - 29/01/11 - 10/2/11

Set out for the trip of a lifetime Ryder and I were setting of to Florida via Sydney. had a fantastic time visiting Animal Kingdom, NASA, Universal Studios & Adventure Island. Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We same with the dolphins at Seaworld Discovery Cove. It was an awesome trip but not long enough. already planning the next trip back to the States.

Its Christmas time

I did a photoshoot of my gorgeous Great Niece Amelia. She is such a good subject she is 51/2 months old here. This is also a picture of My Niece Emily (Amelia's mum).

my 40th Party - Wiazrd of Oz Fancy dress

I had my 40th Birthday party on the 22 May 2010. It had taken a long time of planning so it was great to actually se the end results. I was ecstatic that everyone went to heaps of effort for dressing up. I was very surprised that we only had 1 Dorothy and No Tinman. I was dressed as the Ruby Slipper. A special mention goes to Petal our only Munchkin. A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Princess Pammie for do a spectacular job in taking the Photos.

I painted a mural to go up on the wall as the back drop for the photos. I also had the life size cutouts of the Tinman, Scarecrow and Lion and also the Flying Witch.

WOW IT HAS BEEN QUITE SOME TIME

Happy Halloween

I hosted a halloween Party last night, It was great, i hope everyone had a fantastic night. As i didn't take any pictures i will have to wait until i get copies off those that did take them. I pinched this one from Linda of her FB.

Motorbikes

Yesterday spent the day at Meredith at Motorbikes, it was a beautiful day weather wise. Had great company and there was some great riding. (i stole the picture from Mel Hercus facebook page) as i didn't take my camera

ROYAL MELBOURNE SHOW

On Friday we went to the the Show. We went with Trish and Boo, arrived at 9 and left at 5.30. It was a fantastic day weather was beautiful not too many people. One of the best places to visit for the kids is the Fast Forward (govt expo) It has heaps of free activities for the kids and is al about the emergency services and schools, The cooking pavillon has the BEST DONUTS - BYRON BAY ORGANIC they have a chocolate filled one OMG.

Watched some show jumping, frisbee dogs etc. Fantastic day out

Great night with friends

Had a great night at Trish's last night. We Went there and I cooked a roast for dinner, while I let Trish sit back and relax. I don't get to cook very often and I love it. I loved cooking for Trish's family.

Had heaps of laughs looking at old photos.

Happy Birthday George

Today was my nephew George's 10th Birthday. So this morning i took him a stack of 3 donuts that i put candles in and took it to him in bed singing "Happy Birthday" to hime. He had a good day and tonght he had another cake and we sang "Happy Birthday again. He has had 6 cakes in total.

Niques 13th Party

Last night we went to Niques 13th Birthday SUPERHEROES Party. It was a great night and I think everyone would have enjoyed themselves immensely. It was great to see that everyone got into the spirit of the party and dressed up. I only have one photo to share as all the others are on AM's camera.

Last night I finished reading the first book in the Night World Series- It has 3 stories in it, am now onto the second one. also watched episode 7 of season 2 of True Bloood
